Is there any way to turn off the bloom and dark tint after drinking 'cat' potion?
Way too bright and bloomy even after turning off bloom option from configurator.

I think there was a mod for that ,i recall some mods for the cat potion but i can't really remember what they actually did.... take a look here http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/?

Just so I've finished Dark Souls2 and I've finished all my exams for this semester, I finally might have time to play Witcher2! It is aging on my steam account for years now..
Any tips ? Especially technical tips. All I know is that frame que size must be set to 2 in radeonpro. Otherwise the game lags even with high fps. Well I played it for an hour or so, just to test it out when I got it and noticed that immidietly. Anything else ?
yes. it is enchanted edition and yes - I've finished Witcher1 but only once. Not sure about language I will play too. I play everything in english but heard this game have some funny polish translation... Not sure if I want funny polish or more "atmospheric" english... If I will play it that is. Still have some other games in my backlog
edit:hmmm since I've played ds2 for 40hours I got pretty used to 30fps again. Maybe I will cap Witcher2 to 30 fps and enable ubersampling! (or cap it to whatever I get lowest with ubersampling so maybe 40 or so... nah. 60fps all the way.

Play in Polish, it's tons better than English. I play every other game in English too, but the Polish voice overs are beyond fantastic, it just might be the best VO I've heard in a game.

I have hard time with the game in all Polish including text/quests, I feel so lost and don't know what to do next hah.  . Sounds weird even tho, I speak perfect Polish(well, I think I do still, got little American accent already:( ) and read at least one book a week but I guess living in US for past 13 years does that to you.
Can you play it with Polish VO and have text/quests in English? Especially the quests. Every time I try to play it, I get really frustrated for some reason.

Yeah I just got a Steam client notification about SteamOS support so it was probably that.
(Restarted the client to kickstart any updates and got that pop-up notificaiton.)

Redownloading the game right now for another playthrough and while im waiting... did anyone play the game from start to end with that Full combat Rebalance 1.2 mod ? Lots of people on their forums complaining about tons of problem with it.. was wondering if its true that the mod brakes the game
