sabin: i have no problem at all with performance, i5 2500K / 8Gb / 560 Ti tho, so that might be it. Sad it doesnt perform on lesser computers but when you can pull off moves like that at 90fps its actually fun.

nVidia != ATi. The devs obviously don't give a fuck about ATi owners, which is why the game is still a broken fucking mess three months later.

I was thinking of getting the 560 Ti from the start but it wasn't available at the time.
If I am to sell the Toxic I'll probably get something with 10-20 Euros less, since it's basically brand new, but I probably won't upgrade for another three-four years at the least, I have good faith in both the CPU and the GPU to hold for at least four years before I'll need a serious upgrade again(I've just bought this system, I had a P4 before it) and the only game running like shit on the 6870 was Brink, which I didn't buy and I didn't even enjoy, everything else runs like hot knife through butter.
And the 560 Ti DirectCU II Top from Asus is with 20 Euros more expensive than a brand new 6870 Toxic.

Well, for that cheap, I'd do the trade. the DCUII without doing anything above the factory OC will rip the 6870 to shreds, trust me. Especially, when it comes to tesselation, as nvidia is generally better at it this gen.

Well, first I need to get my PC back from the shop(bought a relatively cheap and shitty PSu since I had no money left or I would have had to compromise on other stuff and a power surge ruined it(it appeared as though nothing else got burnt in the incident but I took it just to be sure, I also bought a much better PSU) and actually sell the Toxic, after which I'll most certainly get the DCU II Top from Asus.

Sorry for continuing with the off-topic, but that was really REALLY dumb.
If there's a component on a desktop that should never be skimped on in favor of any other, it's the PSU.
And IMO you were incredibly lucky that nothing else got ruined... so far.
I've seen people in the same situation where at first it seemed that it was the PSU alone that got smoked.. only to find their system behaving oddly 2-3 months down the road.
