I don'r mean to sound like an iPhone fanboy and I don't own one, but this "beast" is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 clocked at 600 MHz with 256MB RAM. Although these are nice specs, they are identical to the last iPhone revision. The only real difference is that the iPhone was launched several months ago while this "beast" isn't even released yet.
I don't deny that some of the iPhone's limitations are plain moronic, I fully agree there, but this is no revolution, it's just a catch-up.

It's much more than a catch-up- Sure, same thing hardware-wise. But look at what's possible with them. N900 with Maemo, debian based linux build. In theory almost any debian application can be compiled for Maemo and thus run at the N900.
Even though thise phone seem to be very nice I still have higher hopes for the QualComm Snapdragon and phones using that architecture and Google Android. Loving Android now on the HTC Hero and it can only get better.

The same way I am tired of PC. There are always issues. I want to consolify my phone experience

The cameras are very good this year (almost an inch-sized sensor for the main camera). The rest? There hasn't been an exciting iPhone in many years.

iOS is an excellent operating system. Android is pure trash compared to it, and gets laggy after a while. Due to my work i get to touch all kinds of phones, and will keep on using my Iphone. Got my 13 Pro also, and it works. Previously owned 11, same story.

Can't be arsed to try / learn anything else.. the older i get the more lazy i get, especially with boring shit like mobile phones.
Zero interest in trying e.g Linux or similar either, or learning something equivalent to Cubase, Blender or Photoshop. It needs to be something really spectacular for me to give it those few weeks or months to get good/familiar.
I'm still on Iphone 6+. Next update will be the 13, much because of the camera.. What i do like with my 6+ is that it's extremely durable, i've dropped it many hundreds of times since i got it, hardly a scratch on it. Dropped it in water (bath, toilet) multiple times too, even though it's not water proof nothing has ever happened to it.

The newer ones (since 7 and especially X) aren't durable, so make sure to put it in a case. You drop it, the glass on the back breaks.

Yeah it's glass back so it can break for sure.
I will think about it but I don't use cases

I'm and iphone user for a few years now, bought the 6s on release and replaced it 2 years ago when 11 released. - absolutely no issues, gotta love that clean and fast OS. Battery is still at 94% capacity.
Enjoy your product and protect it, I was against cases, especially for the newer models that look like jewels, it's a pity to hide the design, but better safe than sorry.
