My 3 years old chair broke.
It is about the same as this
http://jysk.pl/biuro/krzesla-biurowe/gold/krzeslo-biurowe-tamdrup-termoelast-cz
The spring mechanism broke, so I just screwed it tight in straight 90 degrees position... maybe it will do well for my back or something.
It still is a sweaty mess during summer.

I was thinking about getting something shitty like this:
http://jysk.pl/biuro/krzesla-biurowe/plus/krzeslo-biurowe-billum-czarne
Although at this price (and much higher) it's all chinese shit.

What about alternative solutions? When I had my old shitty setup I learned to sit for hours in cross legged position(monk style). It was difficult at first but then I was doing it for hours without too much pain... Not sure how healthy it is.
I am a rather huge (just fat) guy. 190cm 110kg of weight rumbling in chair is a tough call for any chair producer Laughing
Maybe a ball of some kind or some pouf on which I could sit cross legged? hell I don't know.

For now I am still good with what I have. Maybe it will be good to sit straight for once.
And what is it with chairs always being named Markus or Malcolm Laughing

Do it like all those cool hip people these days and buy one of those twitch-youtuber racing chair for 300 euros or save yourself some money and just get a normal office chair for around 100 euros.
got a similiar which you had and i will never trade it in. im not sitting in a car. why should i buy a racing seat. only missing the seat belts and helmet but people buy everything these days as long youtubers and twitchers recommend it

I really like mine: http://www.ikea.com/be/nl/catalog/products/40103100/

In Belgium I pretty much used a lounge chair. Something like:
 Spoiler:

It was fricking comfy! Worked with the desk I had, wouldn't work with my current one though.

Not the weirdest I used for gaming, when I was younger we were playing games on the console while sitting in seats straight out of a Ferrari Dino 246 xD

Problem is that the chair from Jizz isn't as sturdy I tried it out in their store and that base is flimsy. From a fellow fatty (we weigh about the same): it won't hold your weight for long.

Speaking of JYSK, 2 years ago I bought this chair and after a year, the cheap shit leather started to crack and peel off especially on the arm rest and one spot between the legs. Also, the chair was emitting some strange, foul smell couple of months. The worst thing is that the chair wasn't a cheapest one, around 200 euros. Well, it was comfortable. Anyways, probably some Chinese crap. Won't buy in JYSK anymore ! Sad

Trust me I share the sentiment on how derp it looks and how overpriced those types are... but a few months ago I tried it out (Because they had Dirt Rally on a 3 screen setup ) and well they really are comfortable though xD

It surprised me a bit how well they kept the feeling of a race seat without the downsides for sitting at your PC... And I so hate myself for saying this! Laughing

it's true but you can't even sit like this on these racing chairs (there is a bump on the left and right side) so it's a total no go for me. DISMISSED!

The ultimate goal is to finish games in one sitting.

Last game I've finished in ONE sitting was Resident Evil 5 when it came out. And that was cross legged on the bed with mouse and keyboard on my lap. holy crap how did I do that is now unimaginable to me Laughing

DXRacer.
I got one couple months ago during sale, got it for about $200.
Their chairs are pretty awesome. I strongly recommend it.

Note, that good office chair will easily cost you $800 or more.

If you sit at the desk/pc frequently dont fuck around with shitty $100-200 office works or gaming derp chairs. Look no further than ergohuman.com and get something high quality, ergonomic thats going to last

I've got pretty much the same chair as the second one you mentioned (BILLUM), only the seat isn't completely covered in just one type of material (that weird perforated one), part of it is artificial leather.
I didn't expect much when buying it (it sure as hell is better than the previous one...), but it turned out pretty good. The only two problems I have with it are:
- the seat filling gets squished with time and at some point you might start to notice the metal parts (screws...) under it Laughing
- when I plug in my steering wheel and I want to comfortably reach the pedals, I don't get enough lumbar support - the price of a chair without an adjustable back.
But the 2nd problem might have to do with me not being as huge/fat as you - or quite the opposite (~170cm, 60-ish kg Very Happy), so someone taller should be fine with it.
Dunno how that chair would hold on under 110 kg of weight though Neutral

Ok I got the Ikea Markus chair after trying it because it seemed super solid and had locking mechanism for different angles.. Cloth. Will assembly it tomorrow

One surprising thing at ikea was the kneeling chair. It seemed super super comfortable but I didnt get it.

The kneeling chair isn't too bad, friend of mine had it. Only problem was when you started slouching more after a few hours which could result in a bad back the next day.
