Episode 1 wasn't half bad (dat Quen+Igni+Aard combo in Geral'ts first fight) and then they had to start with the silly woke crap I guess they just don't give a fuck and just had all that guaranteed Netflix money to burn through as they so desired.

The thumbnail is completely real, from like the second or third to last scene of the season finale Laughing

Anyway, great action and fights, Hemsworth wasn't bad at all as Geralt, but the writing was just and they managed to ruin the Emhyr character really bad.

The Rats: A Witcher Tale
80 minutes film.

Apparently these unlikable pathetic losers in the worst season of Witcher have a standalone movie.

At least, it didn't cost much for Netflix to spawn this. Dolph Lundgren might have cost the Netflix some considerable sum thou.

It was as I read a full spin off series. They just cut it to a full feature.

I don't think this was too bad.
My memory of TW3 is very hazy after all those years of what have happened and I think they already said they not following it anyway?

Was this suppose to be 1:1 adaptation of the video game? I think I remember quite shitting on first seasons how it's not like game but was good?

It was supposed to be an adaptation of the books. It's a bad one to put it mildly.

The video games are sequels to the books, and I would even say give the entire Witcher saga a proper ending. The books focused on Ciri and left a lot of storylines open (in particular about the Wild Hunt but also the Nilfgaard stuff)

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
