"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Nice to see that the dog has some good abilities for spotting stuff, not so nice to see that the AI is still the same and they basically don't avoid any hazards what so ever though at least the dog is sturdy.
And drawing upon GTA V and Chomp (I think?) it seems the dog also doesn't quite know if it's supposed to fuck things up or just fuck things.
It does eventually bite it out but I suppose it's realistic in a sense, they do tend to hump just about anything given the chance.
And it is quite grindy for materials but there are cheat-engine tables so meh, just increase the collectible amount a tad (A few zeroes here.) and that's much less of a pain to deal with.
Though it's mainly the later game titanium and circuit boards for weaponry and the ever increasing need for ethanol as a BUILDING MATERIAL sigh everyone is an alcoholic at the survivor camp of Prosperity - But not for your liver. Or so it would seem.
(Suppose the nukes would lead to some people not really coping too well though.)
EDIT: Ah so IMGur does do a number on image quality, not that it's too badly mangled though and the Dunia engine here is a bit dated in terms of overall visual fidelity.
Should probably have skipped the low-quality DOF effect really but then the lower-quality pop-in effect and LOD would be quite a eyesore instead so just deal with like any other modern-day video game. BLUR THAT SHIT RIGHT OUT!
It can look alright at times though but the higher brightness and colorful look is a bit much as well, water in particular though not seen in this image often has this pastel blue look to it now even considering the bliss effect and nuclear fun-stuff in it I'm not too fond of how it looks.
EDIT: Though that said effects like global illumination and the material properties and physically based lighting and rendering also factors in and the game engine here is quite simplistic in how it works compared to say Disrupt (Watch_Dogs) or Anvil (Assasin's Creed) though it also runs incredibly well in turn.
Pushed through and finished this in about 13 hours...could have been completed sooner, but decided to explore and see what the world offers.
Was a true grindfest from the start and clearly made thinking of busy people pouring more money in to microtransactions since unlocking everything by grinding is time consuming.
Storywise wasn't anything to write home about and it just finishes where FC5 left off.

Overall it is a little time waster if bored.
Yeah, I wrote home about it and my mother was like WTF are you talking about?!?!!?
Is coop possible with the cracked version? Had some fun with a buddy in FC5 even though the coop implementation is beyond retarded for the guest player.
i enjoyed FC3, havent played any of the FC games since. This one of the better ones to play?
I'd go for FC4 first because Pagan Min is a bloody cool villain. The Seeds in FC5 can't hold a candle to him and the Twins in Pink Dawn are a joke. That said, if you like the general FC formula, you'll have fun with any of them.
I tried it just because why not and it really is the most blatant re-skin ever. I couldn't even last 2 hours. At least Primal felt a lot like a different game in many ways and had its own thing going, as far as re-skins go Primal was good on the highest difficulty.
But this is just...
I thought it was entertaining despite being a reskin. To their defence this game is supposed to be at the same location as their last one. I dont see a number after Farcry so its probably ment to be some kind of expansion.
The price however says different (I did get it for half the normal price though so Im satisfied)
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
For once i've seen the endings instead of spending +10h with it and knowing i'd be in one of those big walls from FC5 to progress...
...I saw that coming but another meeeeeeeeeh....
