To futher add to what Saint has said, no one has really done anything to warrent a ban here, this IS the bitching section, and while we dont tollerate flaming when it is aimed from one person at another with no real reason. If it becomes part of a "joust" between two members and is seen as under control, there is no need to ban or punish a person.. as it will disapear when one of the users gets bored.. More to the point quite often these things are simply jokes, and most regulars know how far they can push another without it becoming a real problem.. it happens all around the board.. Take the comments above about Mut's mom lol.
We try not to ban the members of the forum who have contributed, this does not JUST mean VIP's, there are plenty of people on the forum who are seen as regualrs and who get this exact same leanency. If a member changes from being someone who for the most helps, is a good person etc.. to becoming a regular rule breaker, they will be banned. I guess its very dependant on situation.
As for stating that someone with 100 posts would get banned, this is possible depending on how helpful that person had been in the past, if all 100 of there posts where "LOLZ" and "WTF?!" then yes they would be gone  ..
