l4d 2 is not the only game that went free for a day, for example bf3's close quarters dlc was permanent free during e3 with a code and many people bought it , also the whole game was free when that multi key activation went live on the internet not so long ago. the same with bfbc2 and moh 2010.

L4D 2 forums are so funny to read, right now. Trolls, outraged customers with only a couple of hours on record, outraged customers demanding another free game instead of L4D and many others....
who the fuck can be angry about this? must be worlds most miserable bitter fucker. i bought the game and i'm happy for people who were in time to ge their free copies. it's like game reborn now, including noobs failing at easy difficulty
Man, some people on the Steam forums are still massively butthurt over this. I wonder if they bitch when a game gets discounted, let's say, by 95% 4 years after release, or after that time makes it's way into a bundle. Which some big games, like Risen 2 or Saints Row 3 for example, do sooner.

Check the Borderlands 2 forums, many people were pissed that GOTY had DLC and was cheaper than the season pass they paid for.
The Square Enix "Mystery Box" also caused a lot of anger, the box contained Tomb Raider, Hitman : Blood Money, Dungeon Siege 3 and Just Cause 2 for £5/€7. People were furious that they didn't get a FF game.

lol i didnt make them, they were leftover dupe accounts i had lying around. i just added the games to the dupe accounts while i was listening to music and surfin da webz, no great effort only did it to boost my main account level, and maybe make a few level 5 accounts for the next event?

Win7x64, nvidia, latest.
Tried built-in nvidia limiter and vsync - no effect (works only when fullscreen). D3Doverrider produces weird effect and slutter with delay so it is out of question.
