No new revisions are planned for now that will be coming out of these two companies. Well, they'll be releasing new Intel-chipseted boards supporting the new LGA2011 socket, if you care about the extreme segment. Laughing

Lol,not that super extreme...

BUT...i've recently checked ASUS site (Global) and there's this "B3.1" revision... ".1"..anybody knows what's the difference tween B3 and B3.1 ?

Clear example here, check the text in bold at the RIGHT of the top's picture at the left

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8P67_REV_31/

It says something about ASMedia Controllers USB 3.0,but maybe they also fixed other stuff....or is that it?,not the cold boot nor problems i've read on Newegg.com?

Intel is sort-of rushing the '79's out so fast they're dropping features now.

(For example the ATI 7000 series is PCI-E 3.0 compliant as a random note.)

And a teaser of a board via EVGA.

Likely in order to meet the "Bulldozer" series head-on then.
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=348287
(Which looks great but says nothing of performance though some scarce articles around that has also leaked.)

(And then the upcoming ten-core variant it seems - http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=348391 )

(Overuse of forums links but it works pretty well, convenient at least.)
