Your chip has to support it and you have to patch the image with toxic's DL patch.
But it's still not a gurantee to work, it depends on the game. You just have to try to be perfectly sure..

then resets to browser says no data

The PS2's Emotion Engine requires too much power to Emulate, maybe when you get things like 10GHZ CPU's it will be ok but by then you will be wanting a PS3 Emu
