I don't know if this will work on your computers but anyways:
Install the game (Mount daemon etc)
Open SteamApps and change the password/username lines to the ones you use in steam.
Loggin to Steam ... |

"Can't find background image 'materials/console/background01.vtf'
followed kommando's guide, and the other one too (the same)... whats the problem :S ... |
