| I got the game working by first forcing the game to start in 640x480, then switching resolution ingame and running windowed. But now the game crashes after each mission.. sigh... |

I got it to work by clicking the reuben.exe file located in the win32 folder of the game. It crashes on launch if I use the start menu shortcut.

You can't really compare The Witcher to Oblivion either.
Oblivion was such a mess story-wise and Witcher was all for the story.
