| Make sure you set the game to start in Windows 2000 compatibility mode. That will solve the issue. |

| Well i figured out what the problem was... dont know why it was a problem but it was ffdshow part of matroska for .mkv video files. I uninstalled it and now the game works fine. |

ATi Radeon x850XT 256MB GDDRIII Platinum Edition
and i just updated to the newest 5.9 Catalyst Drivers today from the 5.8 Drivers... the 5.8 did the same thing |
