There is a problem with the Angle Gate mission with 1.0, which is well beyond 4 missions.

Should be, but it seems that mixing 1.0 and 1.1.x savegames (Ie playing and then patching.) can cause bugs and other issues.
I played with 1.0 and then patched, ran without a hitch and I have playe ... |

why would it ? thoose issues were never a problem cause of a bad copy, the game has this kind of controls...
